Tim Nitz, Founder & Money Pioneer
Our leader was always just that — in and out of the financial industry. After graduating from the Virginia Military Institute in 1981 with a B.A. in Economics, Tim became a Lieutenant in the Army and played an active role in protecting the world from The Threat (Russia) in the early '80s. After returning to civilian life, Tim began his 37-year+ career in financial services. He spent 11 years working with clients for a Fortune 100 insurance company, and then took several corporate level positions over the next 8 years to return, in 2008, to building a client-centric money management practice. His vision for MoneyPulse.Com emerged from a growing sense that good advisors were truly lacking in the America of today. Tim combined a passion for helping people, an expertise in finance, and good old-fashioned relationship building to put together an experience unlike any other: this website. When Tim isn't managing clients money or working this business, he's spending time with his wife Kim and his four grown children, six grandchildren, playing the electric guitar in his church's praise band, or enjoying hunting and shooting sports.
Marty Croll, Tech Quarterback & Tim's Right-Hand Man
Marty's diverse experience with digital start-ups is as vast as his family's exploration of the world. An internationally published journalist (among other things), Marty takes project management to a higher level — much like his snowboarding excursions in the Swiss Alps. Marty is an entrepreneur at heart and has decades of expertise leading, organizing, and getting things done. Though his four sons live all across the globe, from Alaska to Asia, he and his wife Jamie remain a tight-knit family that loves Jesus and Free Enterprise.
Mark Creery, Data Developer & Website Guru
Mark started his career right out of VCU, quickly switching from accounting to software development. He formed Data Directions in 1982 to help his clients improve their businesses through custom software solutions. He travels to the Bahamas frequently to get away. He has two kids, four grandkids, a dog, and seven siblings ... all who live in the Richmond area.
Cabell Harris, Brand Man & Creative Thinker
Few individuals have worked for more agencies or brands as Cabell. Since founding WORK Labs in 1994, Cabell has assisted not only clients, but other ad agencies, written books, built apps, taken his own brands and products to market, and taught at and helped the VCU BrandCenter, the number one ad school in the country.
Christian Wiles, Marketing Magician
Being a student and a teacher of internet marketing since 2000, Christian helps small businesses navigate the turbulent waters of CRM and marketing automation. Through his company Automate Today, he assists business owners with: Conversion Funnels & Customer Value Optimization, Content Marketing, Paid Traffic & Customer Acquisition, Social & Community, Email Marketing, Search Marketing, Analytics and Data, and Optimization and Testing. Christian is a guitar virtuoso and loves playing on the beach at the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
"Samuel Smith", Math Guru & MoneyPulse Master
If Sam's degrees don't say enough about him — B.A. in Physics, as well as other advanced degrees — well, then we are at a loss. Sam's life is shrouded in mystery. Working for an unnamed government entity, Sam cannot even tell us what he does, or he might have to terminate us. As a mathematician, Sam spends his days attempting to achieve the perfect MoneyPulse score, that is unless he is hiking through various mountain ranges across the country. Sam is also working on new services that are to be rolled out in the future, such as the MoneyPulse Income Plan.
